Callie’s story – Kindness Board

“Hi there. My name is Callie Schommer. I’m not sure how this usually works, however, I’m going to give it a try! I know there’s been a lot of horrid acts in our country lately, and sometimes, that makes it extremely difficult to find peace and light, as well as kind hearted acts. My mother, Jeanne Schommer, who has done things on your show previously, felt an intense need to do something good. She thought about it over night and decided that a board full of Random Acts of Kindness would go a far way. We own Piggly Wiggly in Cottage Grove, and that is where she decided the board would work best. I’m not sure if you’re looking for an encouraging story, but I really think this deserves recognition and maybe we can make this become a statewide act!
